Five years after the horrifying tale of Netherworld Nate was first uncovered with the release of Cimitir’s debut album ‘Recollection of Loathsome Legends’, rumors surrounding the phantom composer are still whispered in hushed tones around campfires and traded amongst lorekeepers of true crime and urban legends. In the years following his morbid debut the ill-fated musician released several EPs after returning from beyond the grave, his emergence always shrouded in macabre mystery. Each new release appeared without warning nor explanation before Netherworld Nate disappeared again; back into the shadows of obscurity, his true fate never fully revealed, his unclean spirit never truly resting.
They never found his body, but they say his spirit lives in his albums. This album – EERIE EMANATIONS. A maniac, a thing no longer human. They say he lives on whatever he can catch. Eats them raw, alive maybe. And every year he picks on a trendy synthwave fan and seeks his revenge for the terrible things those kids did to synthesizers. Every year he kills. Right now he’s out there. Watching. Waiting. So don’t look; he’ll see you. Don’t breathe; he’ll hear you. Don’t move; YOU’RE DEAD!
